A Career Rooted in Finance and Real Estate
I grew up in New York but have lived in Southern California for many years. My financial career began in the 1980s as a stockbroker with a major Wall Street firm, where I was first introduced to real estate partnerships — the spark that launched my lifelong passion for real estate investing.
Over the years, I formed real estate partnerships, became a mortgage broker, founded my own mortgage company, and acquired more than ten small apartment buildings in the Phoenix and Los Angeles areas.

A Turning Point That Created a New Path
A medical misdiagnosis later in life led to an amputation, making traditional hands-on property management difficult — but it didn’t diminish my passion for real estate. Discovering private lending allowed me to stay deeply involved in the industry I love while helping both lenders and buyers reach their goals.

While I live in Southern California, the lending opportunities I place for private lenders are located primarily in stable, affordable Midwestern markets. These regions offer lower property prices, strong rental demand, and excellent loan performance — making $20,000–$40,000 loan sizes practical for a single private lender.
